Landscape

I have waited until the light is right on many photo shoots. Most of the time it is in the evening, from 6:45-7:30 pm. I shot half of my photos a little earlier than this prime time, but I like the way they turned out. For the other half of my pictures, I decided to get up before the sun rose and take some pictures in the morning (from 6:30 to about 8:00 am). It was a new experience waiting for enough light instead of hurrying before the light fades. I loved shooting just before the sun came up because of the perfect gradient the sky made. Then there was about 10 minutes where the sky was blown out white, until the sun first peaked over the mountains, then the world lit up. I couldn't believe that every second for about 10 minutes, the light changed dramatically. It was a great experience and I can't wait to go shoot in the morning again.

I'm not sure if this counts as a Landscape picture. I don't know if you can have buildings in landscapes, but I liked this picture.

  1. You have great color in all of your pictures. Did you make any edits to them? You also have some nice lines in your second and third pictures. You got an interesting angle on the temple. I love the slight glare in the third picture. The water in the river looks so calm and serene. No wonder he chose to propose to you there!

  2. I absolutely love the dandelion picture. YOu captured the light just right to have it create a transparent look to the dandelion.

Your proposal photo is gorgeous as well. I really enjoyed that you captured the blue of the water, the sky, and the green color of the trees. Great exposure. What a cute place to be proposed to at. :)
