A Week of Photos

This assignment gave me a great opportunity to pack a camera around every day. There are some things that can't wait until you have a camera to happen, and when you don't, it can be disappointing to miss the chance of a great picture. Because I had a camera all week, I got to take some great once-in-a-lifetime shots (geese) and some shots that I see every day, but hadn't taken a picture of yet (mailboxes). I hope you enjoy the shots I took as much as I enjoyed taking them. But I doubt you will. :)

  1. Karlee, I really love looking at your work. You do such an amazing job. I love the mailboxes that you photographed. It's such a good job! The color and composition in your photos. How you got the leaves to freeze. The flying ducks, and the snow on the leaves. Beautiful job.

  2. Wow! Great job! You got a week full of awesome shots! It seems like either you are spending a lot of time taking photos during the week or you just have a great eye for photography. Your photo of the ducks taking off turned out especially cool! I think a wide crop (like Sister Esplin suggested) would be cool especially if you can cut out the buildings a bit to provide more of a natural look. Anyway great job and good luck!

  3. You did great this week. Your shots are amazing. Great composition, shallow depth of field, and lighting. I really like some of the angles you have on your photos as well. Beautiful.
